Survey: the impact of alcohol sponsorship in sport

Researchers from the University of Queensland are undertaking a range of studies examining the impact of alcohol sponsorship in sport upon sportspeople’s and young consumers’ consumption. This is independent research, funded by the Australian Research Council and The Australian Sports Commission. The research outcomes will help inform the debate on whether alcohol sponsorship should be banned or regulated in Australian Sports.
