Hometown: Launceston, TAS

Current Club: Melbourne United (NBL)

A shooting specialist, Chris began his pro career as a development player with the Brisbane Bullets for the 2006–07 NBL season. He went on to play for other NBL clubs including the Perth Wildcats, Gold Coast Blaze and the Melbourne Tigers.

He has also experienced the NBA with summer league exposure in 2013 at the Cleveland Cavaliers and then with the Dallas Mavericks in 2014.

Chris was signed by Spanish Club CAI Zaragoza on 22 July, 2014 before representing the Australian Boomers at the FIBA World Championships later that year.

2015 saw Chris join the Boomers in their victory over New Zealand in the FIBA Oceania Championship, qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Brazil. He also rejoined the NBL, signing with Melbourne United and his offensive production and development at the defensive end saw him earn a spot in the Australian team for Rio.

Goulding's rapid development as a player continued as he was a member of the 2016 Boomers squad who placed fourth behind Spain in the Rio Olympic Games. Averaging 4 points in his limited time on court, Goulding will look to continue his progress toward becoming an offensive threat for years to come.

In 2018, Goulding and Melbourne United defeated the Adelaide 36ers in the 2017-18 NBL Grand-final series. Melbourne defeated Adelaide in the deciding game five, 100-82, as Goulding was named the Grand-final MVP.
