BRIGHT FUTURE GEMS WIN SILVER AT FIBA U-19 WC

The Gems are taking home the silver medal at the FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup after narrowly losing in an overtime classic against the USA, 70-74. The Gems saved their best for last against the Americans, led by Isobel Anstey who was everywhere. She finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.

GEMS THROUGH TO WORLD CUP FINAL AFTER DEFEATING SPAIN

The Gems are through to the Final of the FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup after beating Spain, 64-55 in Thailand. The Gems kept their cool after a dominant start from Spain and were able to control the rest of the game thanks to great rebounding and a patient offence.

GEMS SHOOT PAST MALI INTO SEMI-FINALS

The Gems are on their way to the Semi-Finals at the FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup in Thailand after beating Mali 63-51. In what was yet another physical test for Australia Gemma Potter played a terrific game. Potter scored a game-high 18 points in 18 minutes of court time thanks to a steady barrage of threes.

GEMS CLAIM VICTORY AGAINST COLOMBIA TO ADVANCE TO QUARTER FINALS

The Gems are through to the quarter-finals of the FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup in Thailand, after defeating Colombia 62-53. The win extends their winning streak to three games, giving them great momentum heading into the next stage of the tournament.

GEMS DEFEAT KOREA TO LOCK UP SECOND PLACE IN GROUP C

The Gems have secured second place in Group C by defeating Korea 78-59 at the FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup in Thailand. In a game that went back and forth in the first three quarters, Alexandra Fowler, Jaz Shelley and Isobel Anstey all finished the game with double-doubles.
