The Australian Rollers and Gliders have arrived in Beijing ahead of the AOZ Qualifiers as they aim to progress through to the 2018 IWBF World Championships.

In the men's competition, the Rollers will compete against 13 other countries with the four teams that reach the Semi-Finals qualifying for the World Championships.

Host nation China are expected to put up a strong fight on home soil while long-term AOZ rivals Japan, Korea & Iran will also provide strong opposition for the Rollers.

In the group stage, Australia will face Iraq and Chinese Taipei and the top two teams from there will move on to the Quarter-Finals before the gold medal game is held on Saturday, October 28.

The Gliders, meanwhile, have only three countries to compete against but must make the gold medal playoff in order to advance to the World Championships next year.

They will meet their three opponents in China, Japan and Iran during the group stage with those results then determining seeding for the Semi-Finals before the gold medal playoff on Friday, October 27.
