After taking out the 2015 title in the men's competition, Queensland North have raced to the top of Pool B with a 3-0 start having defeated NSW Metro and Tasmania on Sunday.

They have strong competition in WA Metro though, who are also unbeaten through three games but we will have to wait until Wednesday for a match-up between them.

Two straight wins for Vic Country have them placed third in Pool B but the gap has already opened up between the rest of the sides with NSW Metro, SA Metro, Tasmania and ACT all aiming for their first victories today.

In Pool A, Vic Metro have given their home fans something to smile about as they sit equal first on the ladder alongside Queensland South.

New Zealand were the big winners on Sunday though, bouncing back from a Day 1 defeat to take care of WA Country and SA Country by an average margin of 52.5 points.

Vic Metro have also impressed in Pool A of the women's division with a 3-0 start while handing SA Country their first loss of the tournament.

QLD North moved to a 2-0 record on Sunday, taking care of the winless ACT.

Three teams are unbeaten in Pool B with Vic Country leading the pack with a 3-0 record while QLD South and SA Metro are hot on their heels on the back of two consecutive wins.

That has set up what is sure to be an enthralling contest between Vic Country and QLD South today at 1pm.
