Ryan Broekhoff has propelled Valparaiso University into the national spotlight, hitting a game-winning three-pointer to send the Crusaders into the Horizon League Tournament Final.

The emerging Australian Boomers star came up big when it mattered most for Valpo, hitting a massive fade-away jump shot as time expired to give advance the No. 1 seed to final 70-69 over Green Bay University.

Broekhoff had 25 points on 8-of-13 shooting to top-score for the Crusaders and lead them to the Horizon League final, where they will face #3 seed Wright State who upset Detroit in their Semi Final clash.
