WCBA Finals level after Cambage master class

A dominant performance from Liz Cambage has levelled the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) Finals series at 1-1 as Zhejiang claimed a 99-88 win over Shanxi in Game Two.

Coming off 38 points and 8 rebounds in the Game One loss, Cambage produced arguably her most complete performance of the season, dropping 45 points on the remarkable 21-of-25 shooting (84%), grabbing 17 rebounds and four blocks.

After Shanxi ended Zhejiang’s seven-game winning streak to start the WCBA Finals, Cambage’s team responded in the best way possible, dominating the all facets of the game.

The team out-rebounded their opponents 46-25, with Cambage recording a season-high 10 offensive rebounds on her way to 17 boards for the night.

Game Three of the five-game series takes place on Saturday night (AEDT).
