The Australian Women’s Under 19 team were drawn in Group B, where they will face Argentina, Japan and European powerhouse Spain in the preliminary rounds.
Coming off a dominant FIBA Oceania Championships, where they comfortably accounted New Zealand, booking their place in Lithuania from 18-28 July.
It will be equally as challenging for our Men’s Under 19 team, who will come up against Senegal, Serbia and South Americans Brazil in Group C from June 27 to July 7 in Czech Republic.
