Cambage led her team to a 96-90 win over Jiangsu in the final round of the season, ensuring the team would finish on top of the WCBA ladder with a record of 17-5.
The 21-year-old was a revelation in her first season outside the WNBL, leading her team in points at 34.6 per game (#2 in WCBA – behind WNBA star Maya Moore), rebounds (10 - #7 in WCBA) and blocks (2.6 - #1 in WCBA).
On the back of a brilliant Olympic campaign that saw Cambage average 13.6 points (#10 in the tournament) at 59.5% (#1), 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks (#3), the rising star didn’t take long to settle into the WCBA game, dropping 46 points in her first start.
