Hadziomerovic to miss rest of College season

Young Aussie guard and current member of Division 1 school Boise State University Igor Hadziomerovic broke his foot in practice this week according to reports, and is expected to miss the rest of the season, Boise State officials said on Saturday.

Iggy averaged just under 11 points at the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship of Basketball and helped Australia to a sixth place finish. Following that he headed to Boise State to start his promising US College career.

Hadziomerovic  is eligible for a redshirt season, which means he is able to continue studying and sit out for the season basketball season, and then resume as a freshman rather than a second year player next year.

The 195cm shooting guard, who also attended the AIS last year, was averaging 7.0 points and 2.2 assists per game in 21.5 minutes per game for the Boise State Broncos and helped them to an 8-2 start to the season.
