Impressive defense from the South Africans was not enough to slow the Rollers, who executed their game plans to near perfection, taking advantage of their strong start and never looked back.
Australia broke away to set up their match winning lead in the first term, as the South Africans struggled to keep pace, trailing 10-26 after one quarter. The second term saw the visitors again forced into difficult shots, while Australia connected on 11 baskets opening up a commanding halftime lead.
South Africa picked up their scoring rate in the second half but Australia, behind the outstanding scoring contribution of Tristan Knowles (who finished with 22 points), did not allow them to narrow the gap.
Brad Ness scored 17 points for the Rollers, with Justin Eveson and Shaun Norris also registering double figures, while for the South Africans, Siphamandla Gumbi top scored with 9 points.
