Squad chosen for first U17 Women's camp

Twenty one of Australia's finest U17 Women players have been selected to attend the national squad's first camp, commencing June 23 and running until June 26 at the AIS.

The camp will give head coach Marissa Fillipou and her assistants the first chance to see the players on court together, as they look to build on court cohesion, before making their selections towards a final team.

A number of promising stars fill the squad, including Vanessa Panoussis and Katherine Ups from NSW Metro, VIC Metro rising star Carly Turner, and WA hopeful Lily Longley, who is the daughter of ex-Boomers centre and retired NBA champion, Luc Longley.
