LAST CALL: Expressions of interest for Australian University Athletes

The 2011 World University Summer Games (WUSG) will be conducted in Shenzhen, China from 12-23 August 2011. This is a unique multi-sport event and is part of the Australia National Team pathway.

To be eligible, male and female athletes must be:

  • Australian Citizens;
  • Proceeding towards a diploma or higher at TAFE or University;
  • Beat least 17 and be less than 25 years of age on December 31 in the year of the event; and
  • Willing and able to adhere to athlete Eligibility, By-Laws and Anti Doping Policy/Rules.

Australian University Sport in conjunction with Basketball Australia is now calling for Expressions of Interest from male and female basketball athletes who would like to compete as members of the Australian Team in the 2011 WUSG. 

Interested athletes should complete the form below and return it to Basketball Australia by Monday, 31 January 2011.

The cost of attending this event is still to be confirmed by Australian University Sport.
