The team, which is comprised of NSWIS scholarship holders and three former scholarship holders, are scheduled to play three games in three separate Chinese cities in what will be an intense program and one that will offer invaluable experience to the young group.
The team is coached by Damian Cotter who is the Head Coach of the basketball program and is also the Head Coach of the Australian U19 men’s team, The Emus.
“The competition is good, they love their basketball over there and it will be a cultural experience that is life-long as well,” Damien Cotter said recently.
The NSWIS Team will take on the Chinese under 19s team, a US college team and a New Zealand development squad as part of the Four Nations Tournament.
