Basketball Challenge to Promote Education

A basketball tour begins on Wednesday in Central Australian communities that will feature a unique blend of basketball, music and lifestyle changing messages writes Hoops4Health

Hoops 4 Health Aboriginal Corporation will conduct the first Hoops 4 Health Challenge in Alice Springs over the next week.

The tours will feature members of the Hoops 4 Health All Stars and will focus on raising awareness of health and lifestyle related issues to young people disengaged from school.

This will be complemented by basketball clinics and sessions delivered by the H4H All Stars.

The Alice Springs H4H Challenge will culminate with a charity game between the H4H All Stars and the Alice Springs Basketball Senior Men's Team on Friday 13th March.

The H4H Challenge will feature two time world super middleweight boxing champion and official patron of H4H, Anthony Mundine, Australian Basketball legend Leroy Loggins and up and coming Cairns Taipans rookie Kerry Williams.
