Australia Post Boomers and Brisbane Bullets point guard Adam Gibson headed south last week to host an Australia Post Junior Boomers clinic at his old school, Hagley Farm Primary in Tasmania.
After a wake-up call from popular breakfast radio station 7LA, Gibson conducted the clinic at the school in the presence of Southern Cross Ten cameras before talking to members of the print media at the end of the morning session.
“The kids really seemed to enjoy it,” Gibson said.
“I’m grateful that Australia Post made it possible too because it’s been an excellent thing for me to come back to my old school.
“It seems like it has shrunk a bit, yeah, but I guess most people say that.”
“Hopefully we’ll be back again.”
