Basketball Australia would like to remind all accredited media wishing to attend the 2007 FIBA Oceania Men’s Championship between the Australia Post Boomers and New Zealand Tall Blacks to have their applications in by Friday, August 10.
The games will be played at the Vodafone Arena in Melbourne, the Sydney Entertainment Centre and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Boondall on August 20, 22 and 24 respectively.
The winner earns the right to play in Beijing in 2008.
Venues have limited media space available and even accredited journalists cannot be guaranteed a seat and photographers a position.
Media who need to have access to power for laptops or to the wireless internet service should also ensure they indicate their requirements to Basketball Australia in advance so venue staff can ensure adequate outlets are supplied.
Those media who have already requested accreditation need not re-request.
Approved Media Accreditation passes are to be collected at the venue.
