Australia Post Boomers Head Coach Brian Goorjian returns to Australia early next week after completing a world tour that included visits to four countries.

Goorjian visited Australian players and foreign coaches in Germany, Russia, Lithuania and the United States to see the players in their foreign environment and to discuss the Boomers’ 2007 campaign.

Australia must defeat New Zealand at the 2007 FIBA Oceania Qualifying Series in August in order to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Goorjian will discuss the intentions of players Andrew Bogut, David Andersen, Matthew Nielsen and others at a press conference to be held at the Basketball Australia offices at 9:30am on Wednesday 18 April 2007.
