Bogut's Bucks down Knicks
Australia Post Boomers centre Andrew Bogut has led his NBA team, the Milwaukee Bucks, to a tightly contested two point victory over the New York Knicks this morning, Australian time.
Leading by nine points entering the third quarter, Milwaukee held off the fast finishing Knicks, eventually taking victory 107-105.
Bogut scored 18 points on 9-of-16 shooting with 9 rebounds and 1 assist in 37 minutes on court.
Bucks guard Maurice Williams was game MVP after posting 30 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists.
The win snapped a six game losing streak for the Bucks, whose 18-and-26 season record puts them last in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference.
Bogut faces giant Miami Heat centre Shaquille O’Neal on Wednesday morning.
